Ronda de Poniente tells the memories of the habitants who went to live in the newly built colonial village of Posada del Bierzo before a historical event that may have changed their lives. We are in Spain in 1961.
Kepa Sojo (Llodio, 1968). As well as being a film director and script-writer, Kepa Sojo has a PhD in History of Art and lectures in History of Cinema at the University of the Basque Country. He is a specialist in Spanish cinema from the Franco era and on the work of Luis García Berlanga. He has won over 70 national and international awards for his audiovisual work, as well as a nomination for the Goya Awards in 2015 for his short film 'Loco con ballesta'. Since 2009, he has coordinated the Cortada Festival in Vitoria-Gasteiz.
