14-year-old Thomas has just moved to the city and wants to be popular in his new school. He finds out that the pretty girl in school is a way to achieve popularity, but Thomas can’t understand his feelings, how to act around his new friends or control the lies, he has created.
Previously Søren has directed the award-winning short films 'An Evening' and 'An Afternoon'. The films have screened at more than 100 festivals around the world and they are distributed in 30+
countries. In 2013 Søren directed and co-produced the documentary 'The Hidden Children'. A film partly about his grandparents, who hid a Jewish boy during World War 2. Søren holds a master’s degree in Film Studies from University of Copenhagen. Søren has also worked as a freelance post producer and as an associate producer at Nimbus Film (2004-2011).
