J. Robert Oppenheimer reminded on camera that, on that day of July 1945, before the blinding ball of fire that announced the success of the first nuclear test, some phrases from the Hindu sacred text Bhagavad Gita came to his mind: 'Now I am become death, the destroyer of worlds'. Starting from this key historical fact of the twentieth century that marked the beginning of the nuclear age, this work of found footage addresses, as a small visual essay, dilemmas about the triumph of technology, its effects on nature and questions about our limited ability to conceive the increasing damage that we are capable of causing, as well as the dilemma between moral delegation and anti-war and nuclear social action.
