Frederico and Sam are two lucky men. Frederico survived an earthquake and has the ability to snatch luck to anyone around him: he’s gifted. Sam is a survivor of the Jewish holocaust and manages a casino halfway through a lava desert. One day Frederico challenges Sam and is expelled from paradise, the gift is taken away. Years later, Frederico thinks believes to have encountered in Tomas, the sole survivor of an airplane crash, the instrument to his revenge. Teaching him how to handle fortune he may use him to go back to the casino and face the god of misfortune. Together they start an initiation expedition in a a succession of tests each time harder and strange in which the highest bet is the fortune of all the others; fortune that in this game gets trapped in a simple photography. All goes well until Sara, a police that lived through that killed her family, gets obsessed in finding out what lies under these backstreet games in which death and fortune mingle. Where only one can stand intact.
