Hobby: a documentary that aims to entertain speaking about entertainment.

Ciro Altabás Fernández
Ciro was born in Zaragoza, Spain, in 1977, although he had to pack his suitcase and move to Madrid to study Media Studies in the Universidad Europea de Madrid. In there, he worked in many different short films as a producer, director of photography, editor, art director, sound recordist and director both in film and in video. His last short film there, 'Phobia' not only went on to win more than thirty awards around the world, it was also screened in the Official Selection of the 59 Mostra di Venezia. Back in Madrid he has directed the short films 'DVD' (winner of more than fifty international awards), 'Made in Japan' and 'Manual Práctico del Amigo Imaginario (Abreviado)' as well as shooting the documentary 'Hobby' in Japan. Also, he has studied in the University of California and Los Angeles, in a course promoted by the New York Film Academy. He has attended more specific courses of screenplay and dubbing, has been a college teacher, translator, jury member, reviewer, and a professional screenwriter for feature films and tv-movies.
