Over the past few months, the employees of a large industrial firm in a high-security science park have committed suicide in very dramatic circumstances. Eugène Cercas, a young job inspector, is hired to investigate about the mysterious wave of suicides. During his investigation within the dehumanising space of the company, he will discover troubling elements, which will draw him ever further into the depths of paranoia.
