When his wife leaves him, Joaquín turns to his son to help him bring his mother-in-law out of a nursing home to do his house work.
Borja alternates his work in TV with directing shorts which have won over a hundred awards, including an Oscar nomination for 'Éramos pocos' and a Goya nomination for 'La primera vez'. He directed the features 'Pagafantas' and 'No controles', and co-authored the screenplays for 'Amigos' and 'Ocho apellidos vascos'.
