The film deals with the Sisyphean nature of erotic time. Drawing on an Escher painting with figures climbing up and down stairs without ever crossing, the male figure wanders around, falls mutely in love, is held captive, is freed, liberated, seeks after his somatic self, remains untouched by the carnal, remains ever unsatisfied.
