What the Doctors Says

A seen-it-all doctor knocked out of her daily routine confesses the biggest mistake of her life: brain-death examination of a teenage girl and a liver transplant for a patient unlikely to survive the operation. That's the daily routine of Doctor Glik, an anesthesiologist with long-gone passion for her job. Confronted by Ms. Knap, a rich and demanding family member of one of her patients, Doctor Glik says something that she really should not. The disproportionate conflict puts Doctor Glik in a position she would never expect to find herself in.

Michał Wnuk

Michał was born in 1980 and graduated from the Film Directing studies on the Univeristy of Silesia. He worked as a first assistant director and co- writer. He was granted the fellowship from the French Foreign Ministry (Paris, 2005), Nipkow Programm and Goethe Institut Stiftung (Berlin 2007). This is his first short film.
