Rosa and Manuel are a middle-aged, married couple from rural Galicia in the fifties. After Manuel makes a trip Rosa finds a love letter written with careful handwriting, hidden in his pocket. Rosa has absolutely no doubts that her husband has an admirer but she can’t read.
