A film about water where documentary footage is interwoven with fiction and animation. We travel to New Zealand and Greenland, between two places situated on exact opposite sides of the earth. On the one side, steam is the central element and on the other, it is the sea, the frozen sea, the ice. The narration is read by the poet Bob Hansson: "What happens if you die during the winter and there is ground frost – how are you buried? Are you put in a freezer to wait?"
