An elderly woman is making coffee while a man sleeps restlessly. The man wakes up. He runs in vain to catch a train that speeds away. He wants to leave, to flee: he relives his suicide –his obscure illusion– he mimes it repeatedly. Other trains pass -in vain. Then over the noise of time is imposed silence -the white, pure light of two waiting spirits. Together they try a dance step: they're youth and old age closed in an embrace. Finally, when the tenderness is no longer opposed by the obsession, she goes away. He continues to sleep but doesn't dream anymore.
