Slavek is an elderly caretaker of a public lavatory and is proud of his job. He becomes anxious to see more and more automatic toilets set in the town. Then a change happens. He falls in love with a woman toilet caretaker who is working on the other side of the street. A love story that takes place in a public toilet.

Grimur Hakonarson

Grimur was born in 1977 and graduated from the Film Academy of Performing Arts in Prague 2004. His graduate film, 'Slavek the Shit', was selected to the Cannes Film Festival 2005 and won 10 international awards. Grimur also made a short film called 'Wrestling' (2007) which won various international awards. Grimur is now working on his first feature film, 'Summerland'.
