Pjotr Sapegin
Pjotr Sapegin was born in Russia in 1955. He has been living and working in Norway since 1990 and is now a Norwegian citizen. He has worked for 15 years as stage designer on theatres in Moscow, among them at the Bolshoj theatre. He started to work with animation films after moving to Norway. Sapegin was one of the founders of the animation studio Studio Magica AS in Oslo, but is now running his own production company, Pravda Productions (established 2001) with David Reiss-Andersen and Mikkel Sandemose. Sapegin has made a number of short films, which have won both national and international awards.
