The story is both circular and universal, recounting a fate that we have all endured. However, for Fernando, the most important thing in life is not choose the right woman but to always choose himself. Because they will pass, and he will always remain standing.

'Yo te prefiero' (2008) is Jose's first work and with it he won the Best Short Film Award at the San Borondón Festivalito de La Palma, the Second Award in Cruzarte and Kinescope Award of the Canary Islands 2008. 'Vertigo50' (2009), shot in the USA, has won the Best Short Film Award at Cruzarte and the Second Award for Short Documentary CajaCanarias Awards. Cahiers du Cinema named it as one of the outstanding short films of 2009.
