Ferdie Calvino, a young TV 'extra', decides to go to his local gym, with only one goal in mind: to build a body that will 'fill men with fear and women with desire'. But an unusual and inexplicable war has begun between Hokamma and Chin Fu gymnasiums. At the same time, television extras and actors take to the streets to demand for unpaid wages. Ferdie finds himself involved in the hostilities of this violent war and ends being a fundamental element in the bloody fight that unveils evil and unforeseen alliances.

Diego Lerman
Diego was born in Buenos Aires in 1976. He graduated from Sound and Image Design at the University of Buenos Aires and got his degree in Playwright Studies at Buenos Aires Municipal School of Dramatic Arts. He also studied Montage at San Antonio de los Baños School (Cuba) and Acting, at Ricardo Bartís’ Acting and Directing school Sportivo Teatral. In 2002 he wrote, directed and produced 'Tan de repente'. Also in 2002, he was chosen at the Cannes Festival for the Cinéfondation Residence Program in Paris, where he lived and worked for 5 months writing his second film, 'Mientras tanto', which he also directed and produced. In 2005, he founded Campo Cine with Nicolás Avruj, where they produced 'La Guerra de los gimnasios'. In 2007, their Production House started providing services for both national and foreign productions. In 2008, he wrote the feature film 'Ciencias morales', adapted from the novel of the same name by Martín Kohan, together with María Meira, and won the Bal 2008 Award. The script also received the Sundance/Nhk Award. This feature film will be directed by Diego.
