Who could accuse a practical nurse, for whom the care of a body is the result of a conscientious preparation, of lacking of attention? Can anyone blame him? Filippo, a very good professional nurse, does the best he can to cure Wanda, a terminally ill woman, but he doesn't realize what he could really do. Events of an upsetting normality, in the development of the story, represent a deaf, blind, dumb society that isn't able to create a link between what is written on the newspapers and what is just in front of her. Indifference is a fault for which we can easily find very good excuses.
