In the Madrid of the 60's, Carlos, student of Law, is in charge of a cineclub that programmed a cycle dedicated to the classic Carl Dreyer. At the house of his girlfriend Elena arrives Santi, a priest and friend of the family, on his way to missions, that will revolutionize the vision of love, marriage and life that share the couple. Some changes will also affect Julia, the projectionist of the cineclub that is in love with Carlos. All of them are part of a microcosm in which the story of the characters and their sentimental, moral, psychological problems have for background a Spain that struggles to open up to new winds of change from abroad.
