Tomás, a man near the old age, best seller author, has lived for fourty years a strange exile: since he left his native village, as a youn man, he didn't come back to Spain. One day, his apparently happy marriage is cut short with the violent and sudden death of his wife. That's when, all of a sudden, he receives an old tarot card. The card of the 'lover'. For Tomás it's time to go back to Spain and to face ghosts. And to go back to Moira...

Mateo Gil
Mateo Gil is well Known as a screenwriter, especially for his colaborations with Alejandro Amenábar, including his last film (Agora, now in post-production). He has also directed Allanamiento de morada (Housebreaking, 1998, short), Spectre (2006, TV) and the feature film Nobody knows anybody (1999).
