We're in Spain, during the dictatorship of the General Franco, in the 60's. At an international level the Cold War is at its climax and the Vietnam War in its culminating point. The Americans have installed militar camps in Spain. Some of them in Andalusia, near Seville. A lot of young Americans that pass in those camps are in a relation with a vitalistic and rebel incipient movement that is developping in Seville. A strong cultural and musical exchange is produced impregnated with the contraculture spirit. The underground was born in Spain. A magic and overwhelming movement that from 1967 to 1972 has converted Sevilla in a cultural reference of the avant-garde with multiple contacts with California, and several European countries. A movement whose spearhead was music. Among all the groups that surged in that moment, was: Smash, which recorded two discs and numerous singles, pioneers of the rock and flamenco fusion. Moreover the Sevillian underground movement had a great relation with the Barcelona underground and some figures of the Gauche Divine.
