The Coffee Shabandar was founded in 1917, in the heart of the historical center of Baghdad. It was a famous place where the Iraqis were approaching to converse and debate on literature and politics. Emad had rolled most of his movie in 2006, but in March, 2007, a car bomb I destroy the Coffee Shabandar, the neighboring bookshops and many people.
