A sunny midsummer day in Reykjavík, Iceland. Hrönn, a young woman, is trying to patch up her relationship with her ailing father. Next morning, Hrönn is woken by the phone to find out that her dear friend Tim has died in a car crash. In a state of shock, she takes a cab to pick up her father from the hospital.
