Kirsten lives together with her 18-year-old son Dennis. One day, Dennis is lucky enough to have his life's biggest dream come true: he gets the chance to sing in a talent show on TV. During the show, his mother sits at home in her provincial village's quagmire of morals and duties, and watches the show, when Dennis suddenly reveals a secret. This film shows that one should stand by one's ideals and strike while the iron is hot.
