Erik (38) consdiers leaving his wife and children for his somewhat younger lover Kaja. Sverre (46) reluctantly has to participate in swinging in an attempt to boost a relationship that has gone dull. Their father visits his beloved - but senile - wife every week, and has started wondering if there wasn't anything more to life.
The father and his two sons meet every Sunday, but all they talk about is soccer - and the fear that their favourite team Skeid would have to move down one division.
This tragicomic story shows us it is not all that easy to be an ordinary man. But even if you move down one division, all is not lost.
