A postman's working day is over before most of us are even up, leaving a lot of time to sit and ponder, to regret lost chances and things that were left unsaid. The man of letters finds two friends drifting into discussion about the nature of love, which prompts the surprising story of a love letter that was never sent.

Whilst at school Tom combined the experience of 15 plays to decide that he wasn't much good at acting. However, in the meantime he was also writing and directing by the age of 16. At University, he spent most of his time reading literature, writing and watching films. He made only one film during this period, and would prefer not to talk about it. Tom first gained work in the film industry as a stills photographer and assistant director, before deciding to focus his energies on working on the camera team. Nowadays he makes a living as a camera operator and focus puller, concentrating his downtime on DOPing shorts, writing, and pushing to get the next project off the ground.
