Juan de Dios Marfil
From Ceuta, Spain, he studied a degree in Animation at FAMU School of Film and Television in Prague (Czech Republic). He combines his studies in film with the ones of music obtaining the title of Senior Professor of Piano at the Higher Music Conservatory “Victoria Eugenia” in Granada, and the Master on Ethnomusicology at the University of Maryland (USA). Homeland has received, among many other awards, a Special Mention in SICAF, the International Animation Festival in South Korea.
