At nightfall, a roped party is in between a storm on the uper slopes. The leader is a young woman called Ariane. The rescue is on their way. Meanwhile, the only person in contact with the group is a Civil Guard, Serge, who tries by phone to assure them and to help them to protect from the cold. The storm doesn't abate and Serge is realizing that maybe he can't reach to make them pass the night...
